Bodies of Water in the Upper Black Forest
The Titisee is located about 20 kilometers from the Waldhotel and is a popular
excursion destination for socializing, swimming, and boating/paddleboating.
The Titisee has the Feldberg glacier to thank for its existence. Embedded in the Feldberg scenery,
the Titisee is an absolute jewel of the Black Forest.
On the northern bank, there is the health resort Titisee-Neustadt, featuring the famous high ski jump.
The surrounding Black Forest towns of Hinterzarten, Breitnau, Saig, and Lenzkirch are also interesting to explore.
The Titisee’s big brother, the Schluchsee, is also about 20 kilometers from the hotel.
All kinds of water sports take place here—such as wind surfing, fishing, sailing, and diving.
